Spring 2

In Browne Class, our topic is  Emergency 999.  We are looking at people who help us and careers which are available.  A lot of Browne class children have aspirations to be in the police and to be  doctors.  Last half term we met the PCSO's for the first time. We are using mobile phones to call for help, using a range of small world vehicles and dressing up in various uniforms.  The aim is to have a vocabulary rich environment.

Our Rainbow Jobs include jigsaws around the theme, colouring, fine motor skills and colouring competitions arranged by the police and fire service.  Winners to be announced...

We have visits booked with the PCSOs and their marked car 10th March and the Fire Service 14th March.  Photographs to follow.

We have been helping the farmer to look after his eggs which hatched in our class this week.
Browne class have loved their visit from the police, they have sat in the car, tried some of the police equipment and asked lots of brilliant questions.
